Good day bosses, I will appreciate if you could assist to review this ground floor plan of my proposed 5 bedroom duplex. The land is in an estate and one can only modify the interior. The doors and windows must remain where they are. God bless
Shogbenga greetings and welcome to kobocity.
What exactly do you want to achieve from the plan? A better flow? More rooms?
brabus better flow…the first floor is still being worked on. Thanks
@Shogbenga you’ll also need to share the upper floor plan in order to properly review the design.
brabus the first floor isn’t ready. I am actually modifying a complete plan produced by the estate which I don’t like. It has the void type living room
Shogbenga How many Bedroom is upstairs? And how many Floor is the building?
3 bedrooms upstairs with a family living room….a duplex
Shogbenga I asked because you said 5 bedroom duplex. I know that footprint is too small for a standard 5 bedroom. So it’s a 4 bedroom duplex and not 5 bedroom.
I’ll draft something and send to you.
Thanks. I mentioned 5 because there is a visitor’s room and utility room/office on the ground floor
brabus expecting your draft. Thanks
Shogbenga check this.
I wish I can see the arrangement of the upper floor to see the window position.
The major changes to the ground floor were the following:
brabus thanks Oga Brabus
Attached is the original plan .
Shogbenga this will greatly help
I will like a situation where as you enter the foyer into the house, those in the living room will not see you as you approach the stair case
Shogbenga this is possible if we swap the kitchen with the guest bedroom and move the dining to where the study is.
The implication is a smaller guest bedroom.
Or we can maintain the kitchen position while while we move the dining to the study area.
I think the study on the ground floor can be used as utility room/gym while a study room is created on the first floor to avoid distraction/noise
For the first floor, my desire is to have close to one third of it dedicated as the master bedroom with closet. Thanks
Shogbenga it’s very possible.
brabus the first option is more feasible
Shogbenga check this out.
The only challenge with the upper floor is the front terrace. It won’t be at the master bedroom as the master bedroom will now occupy the void section.
Ill send draft
