This is how I used it in one of my recent design work for a client in Benin.

dapotemi no difference. It may cost a little more because it requires great expertise to make curve walls and you’ll use more block. So in terms of cost, the wall might cost you about 40k+ (material and labour) but it will be a great feature in your build.

Thank you brother, the rain came quite early. I had to stop the project as i was told that truck are not allowed to enter the estate during raining season. This is an agreement made by all the estate resident through their CDA. They said truck is not good for the road, I was expecting the rain to start by May. I just weak, no choice than to wait.

dapotemi Your builder is a good guy. The pricing is fair enough but you can offer him 400k for all.

Just ensure he’s doing the right thing.

Right Depth must be excavated
Column installation must be thorough
Right thickness must be achieved during blinding and slab work.
All internal partitions must be formed during block work. No corner cutting unless the drawing specified it.
Filling sand must be well compacted
DPM must be well laid. Don’t be like my friend who installed DPM on the filling sand and left out the walls. The DPM serves no purpose.
